MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Crisis Centers in Middle Georgia are seeing an increase in sexual assault and domestic violence reports. A crisis center coordinator says the Lifetime documentary series “Surviving R. Kelly” might be the reason.
The Armorbearers are a nonprofit organization who helps disabled or low income active duty or veteran personnel. They plan to raise money for a great cause at MGM Park. Mississippi Army National Guard veteran and Purple Heart recipient Jack Walker is an incomplete quadriplegic, left leg amputee, and his house was destroyed by fire in April 2018. On March 23rd, the organization plans to raise money to build Jack a new accessible home with a softball tournament including the military and first responders followed by a celebrity softball game. General admission will be around $20 and should be on sale early February.
